  • Great to see a film about dancing! A relatively unexplored sub-genre of documentary, and Cunningham was welcome for this alone. It adds to a hole that I suppose Wenders' Pina opened.

  • On that note, this film should not have been shot in 3d, which added nothing but nausia. We expect the 3d was entirely for the purpose of (a) copying Pina and, relatedly, b) getting funding. But Cunningham's dances are far less spectacular and their presentation here likewise. The 3d only distracts from the movement in all but one Warhol-involved set, especially when edited with 2d archival.

  • First half entertaining, second boring. The film progresses at a monotonous pace: one thing happens and then another and then another. No real conflict or tension.

Which is a problem. Because there evidently was plenty of this, but only in reality. The movie, on the other hand, brushes past unconvincingly. No one in the film is given space apart from Cunningham - everyone else speaks to convince the audience how great he is. I wanted to hear from one of his female dancers honestly, in long form, of the darkness of Cunningham. This would help to flesh out his character, give us something to chew on, and organise the film into a narrative. As is, we grew progressively distrusting and disengaged with the Greatest Hits/ Victory Lap tone, before the film ends suddenly with the news that all his dancers left.

  • Ultimately we were left unconvinced that Cunningham (the dancer) was all that interesting. Fashionable certainly, he's attached to the right people, and I'm sure it would be great to be dancing as him, but the just-over-half-full prime-time-at-the-festival cinema was an endless circuit of yawns.

  • Nevertheless we feel cultured now.

Kimi to nami ni noretara stream. The story centers on the relationship between Hinako, who has moved to a coastal town upon entering university and Minato, a young firefighter with a strong sense of justice. Hinako loves surfing and while fearless on the sea, shes still uncertain about her future. Following a fire mishap in the town, Hinako and Minato encounter each other. As they spend more time surfing together, Hinako feels drawn to Minato, who dedicates himself to help others. Kimi to nami ni noretara review. Kimi to nami ni noretara trailer. Hinako is a surfer, Minato is a firefighter. Both about 20 and they fall in love. Everything is ridiculously perfect, but one day Minato drowns while trying to save someone from the ocean. Hinako, understandably takes it pretty bad, but to her surprise, whenever she starts singing their favorite song, Minato's spirit appears in the closest body of water - be it a stream, the ocean, or a bottle of mineral water. The whole story is really about Hinako, Minato's friends and family, and how they slowly but finally learn to "let go. Of course, it's magical-realism, so in the end we get to witness some crazy action as well, where we surf down a skyscraper with our protagonists. Unfortunately, this is not the most original story, the characters are a little two dimensional, and the filmmaking could've been a little braver. It's fine though, the film looks really nice, colorful with constantly glowing orange hues and cool blues. The action looks fantastic as well and the environments feel very "lived in" and detailed. Seeing it on a big screen really adds to the experience. It is also paced well, has some pretty funny moments, as well as a couple of quite moving ones. Recommended if you manage to catch it screening somewhere, but not an essential viewing. There. Really not much else to say about it, but seeing the only other user review for this title is from someone who clearly has no idea what he's talking about, I wanted to add my two cents. Wish you could do it more often but I still support every video you post. I never heard of this wtf.

When I first watched the film, I thought the pacing was way too quick for me to actually understand what was going on. Although I will say that the fire fighter scenes were pretty intense regardless if they were only training or had to attend buildings that were on fire due to fireworks.
I understood this films backdrop involving the feeling of losing someone through drowning and honestly the ending was a near hard hitter for me. However I would have liked if the couples experience together was more in depth because as I said yet again, it was rather rushed. It didn't give much in depth either with the other guy who had a crush on her or if he was going for someone else. Since I'm not gonna say spoilers to telling you who's who, it's best to watch the film.
Animation wise, it was pretty alright. Not amazeballs but it was easy on the eyes at least.
As much as the film did offer a bit of emotion, it's not the ultimate worse or disappointment I've ever seen. However room for improvement is what it definitely definitely needs in terms of story pace development.

Izmet in my language means excrement or faeces! xD. Lichard fans here. T he image of the West End suddenly brightens with the arrival of a six-play Kenneth Branagh season lasting a year. But, although Branagh stars in four of the productions and is involved in directing three of them, this feels like a company venture rather than an actor-manager ego-trip. At first, it looks as if we are in for a romantic reading of The Winter’s Tale, co-directed by Rob Ashford and Branagh. We are, in Christopher Oram’s design, at a Christmas court full of snowflakes, carols and cheerful festivity, where everyone sits down to watch a home movie of the king, Leontes, and his chum Polixenes in their romping boyhood. But there are strong hints that Branagh’s fine Leontes is driven less by insane jealousy over his wife’s possible adultery than by the loss of Polixenes’s love. Hadley Fraser’s Polixenes refers to women as “temptations”, while Branagh himself spits out words like “sluiced” and “slippery” as if disgusted by female sexuality and eagerly kisses his male courtiers. The implication is that this is a man still haunted by an idyllic boyhood attachment. That is only one of several intriguing touches in what superficially looks like an orthodox production. Judi Dench plays the truth-telling Paulina not as the usual angry scold but as a woman whose capacity for defiance masks a deep compassion for wayward humanity: the moment I shall long remember from this production is when Dench, having regretted her verbal rashness, gazes at Branagh’s shrunken, guilt-ridden Leontes with a silent sorrow. Fertility rite … Tom Bateman as Doricles/Florizel and Jessie Buckley as Perdita in The Winter’s Tale. Photograph: Johan Persson/Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company/Garrick Even the rustic scenes in Bohemia, translated over the years to everything from a hippie Haight-Ashbury to Glastonbury, are here played as a decidedly east European fertility rite where the male shepherds strip as they dance and where Jessie Buckley’s Perdita positively glows with erotic fervour. Although this production ends, unfashionably, in unequivocal forgiveness, it is not afraid to hint at the darker elements in Shakespeare’s fable. Branagh and Dench are surrounded by a first-rate team. Miranda Raison lends the wronged and persecuted Hermione a shining self-belief, Michael Pennington brings a lifetime’s Shakespearean experience to the role of the bear-pursued Antigonus and John Dagleish is a suitably nimble-fingered Autolycus. You go to see the stars and, in the words of a Sondheim song, in comes company. • At Garrick, London, until 16 January. Box office: 0330 333 4811. Tickets available at Guardian box office.

I admire anyone who can sit through one week of Tim Pool; I can't sit through one minute of his content. Thanks for this. The voice actor for Supreme Serpent is perfect and deserves a spot in the MCU. The fact Ben thinks being Ayn Ran is a good thing says more about how bad he is then us on the left ever could.

Ooo she's so scary had me weak af. I've always wondered about benign violation, though I didn't know that term. I love slapstick and I always wished there were more female slapstick comedians, but I understand why it's harder for women to do, because of the view of women as more fragile so injuries are serious rather than funny. José Gender predominantly masculine Origin Word/name Latin: Iosephus, Greek: Ιωσήφ, Hebrew: יוֹסֵף Other names Related names Joseph, Xosé, Josefo, Josetxu or Josetxo (given name in Basque). Feminine forms: Josefa, Josée. José is a predominantly Spanish and Portuguese form of the given name Joseph. While spelled alike, this name is pronounced differently in each language: in Spanish [xoˈse], and in Portuguese [ʒuˈzɛ] (or [ʒoˈzɛ]). In French, the name José, pronounced [ʒoˈze], is an old vernacular form of Joseph, which is also in current usage as a given name. José is also commonly used as part of masculine name composites, such as José Manuel, José Maria or Antonio José, and also in female name composites like Maria José or Marie-José. The feminine written form is Josée as in French. In Netherlandic Dutch however, José is a feminine given name, and is pronounced [ˈjoːseː]; it may occur as part of name composites like Marie-José or as a feminine first name in its own right; it can also be short for the name Josina and even a Dutch hypocorism [1] of the name Johanna. In England, Jose is originally a Romano-Celtic surname, and people with this family name can usually be found in, or traced to, the English county of Cornwall, where it was especially frequent during the fourteenth century; this surname is pronounced, as in the English names Jose ph or Jose phine. [2] According to another interpretation Jose is cognate with Joyce; Joyce is an English and Irish surname derived from the Breton personal name Iodoc which was introduced to England by the Normans in the form Josse. In medieval England the name was occasionally borne by women but more commonly by men; the variant surname Jose is local to Devon and Cornwall. [3] The common spelling of this given name in different languages is a case of interlingual homography. Similar cases occur in English given names (Albert, Bertrand, Christine, Daniel, Eric, Ferdinand) that are not exclusive to the English language, and which can be found namely in French with a different pronunciation under exactly the same spelling. Spanish pronunciation [ edit] English speakers tend to approximate the Spanish pronunciation [xoˈse] as; with a [z] rather than with an [s] sound. In Castilian Spanish, the initial ⟨J⟩ is similar to the German ⟨ch⟩ in the name Bach and Scottish Gaelic and Irish ⟨ch⟩ in loch, though Spanish ⟨j⟩ varies by dialect. Historically, the modern pronunciation of the name José in Spanish is the result of the phonological history of Spanish coronal fricatives since the fifteenth century, when it departed from Old Spanish. Unlike today's pronunciation of this name, in Old Spanish the initial ⟨J⟩ was a voiced postalveolar fricative (as the sound " je " in French), and the middle ⟨s⟩ stood for a voiced apicoalveolar fricative /z̺/ (as in the Castilian pronunciation of the word mismo). The sounds, from a total of seven sibilants once shared by medieval Ibero-Romance languages, were partly preserved in Catalan, Galician, and Occitan, and have survived integrally in Mirandese and in the dialects of northern Portugal. In those regions of north-western Spain where the Galician language is spoken, the name is spelt Xosé and pronounced [ʃo'se]. Portuguese pronunciation [ edit] People with the Portuguese given name José [ʒuˈzɛ] usually have their name pronounced by English speakers approximately as " joe say ", which is frequently heard in news media. Examples of this are for instance former President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and football coach José Mourinho, whose names are commonly pronounced with some degree of precision by world media CNN and BBC by resorting to English sounds (i. e. " Joseph " without the " ph ", often sounding like " zhoo- ZAY "). [4] Historically, the conventional Portuguese spelling of the name was Joseph, just as in English, though variants like Jozeph were not uncommon. [5] [6] Following the 1910 revolution, the Portuguese spelling was modernized. The first Reform of Portuguese orthography of 1911 elided the final mute consonants ⟨ph⟩ and ⟨th⟩ from Biblical anthroponyms and toponyms (e. g. Joseph, Nazareth) and replaced them with the diacritic on the final ⟨é⟩, indicating the stress vowel (e. José, Nazaré). In Portuguese, the pronunciation of vowels varies substantially depending on the country, regional dialect or social identity of the speaker: in the case of the ⟨o⟩ ranging from /u/ to /o/; and in the case of ⟨é⟩, from /e/ to /ɛ/. The Portuguese phonology developed originally from thirteenth-century Galician-Portuguese, having a number of speakers worldwide that is currently larger than French, Italian and German. In Portuguese the pronunciation of the graphemes ⟨J⟩ and ⟨s⟩ is in fact phonetically the same as in French, where the name José also exists and the pronunciation is similar, aside from obvious vowel variation and language-specific intonation. French vernacular form [ edit] The French given name José, pronounced [ʒoˈze], is an old vernacular form of the French name Joseph, and is also popular under the feminine form Josée. The masculine form is current as a given name, or as short for Joseph as is the case of French politician José Bové. The same masculine form is also commonly used as part of feminine name composites, as is the case of French athlete Marie-José Pérec. In turn, the feminine form Josée is only used customarily either as a feminine first name or as part of a feminine name composite, with respective examples in French film director Josée Dayan and Canadian actress Marie-Josée Croze. Jewish use [ edit] A number of prominent Jewish men, including sportsmen, entertainers and historical figures, are known publicly as Joseph or Jose, another form of Yossi (Hebrew: יֹוסִי), and a diminutive of Yosef or Yossef (Hebrew: יוֹסֵף). Feminine form [ edit] Both the Spanish and Portuguese feminine written forms of the name are Josefa, pronounced [xoˈsefa] in Spanish, and [ʒuˈzɛfɐ] in Portuguese. The name José also occurs in feminine name composites (e. Maria José, Marie-José). Josée is a French feminine first name, pronounced [ʒoˈze], relates to the longer feminine form of Joséphine [ʒo'ze'fin], and may also be coupled with other names in feminine name composites. Similarly, in Flemish, José is a male given name, for which the feminine written form is Josée, with both forms being pronounced [ˈioːˌse], but the spelling stems originally from neighboring French-speaking influence. In Dutch, however, José is pronounced [ˈioʊˌseɪ], which is a feminine given name in its own right, sometimes also used as short for the feminine name Josina. Examples are Olympic swimmer José Damen and pop singer José Hoebee. Josephine and Joséphine are in use in English-speaking countries, while Josefine is popular in Western Europe. Diminutives [ edit] One of the common Spanish diminutives of the name is Pepe, which is a repetition of the last syllable of the earlier form Josep. [7] (Popular belief attributes the origin of Pepe to the abbreviation of pater putativus, P. P., recalling the role of St Joseph in predominantly Catholic Spanish-speaking countries. ) In Hispanic America, the diminutives Cheché and Chepe also occur, as in Colombian soccer player José Eugenio ("Cheché") Hernández and Mexican soccer player José ("Chepe") Naranjo. In Portuguese, the most widely used diminutive form of the name is Zé, and less used forms include Zeca, Zezé, Zezinho, Zuca, and Juca. The augmentative of the diminutive may occur as in Zezão, as well as the diminutive of the diminutive Zequinha, Zezinho, Josesito.

Huh despite checking for videos of your's all the time, I never subscribed to you... Well I fixed that now, I love these long reads into sitcoms. Jose my man! Yet another video showing me why I should care about a piece of media I've never heard about! Somehow you're really great at this. Better than real version. SAISON 2019 - 2020 Diffusion: 5H41 - 5H41: Lundi, Mardi, Mercredi, Jeudi, Vendredi, Samedi, Dimanche. I shouldn't have been shocked by how badly written, dumb and bigoted this book turned out to be but I still was lmao. Like it's so bad my mind struggles to comprehend it.

Oh good, I missed the live version because I had to calm my sister down. I'm so happy it's here. Imagine u paid 500 Dollar to see this fight. When it came out I used to listen to Crush by Bon Jovi unironically. I'm glad I grew out of it and developed into a decent human being. Nagyon köszönöm a rengeteg fergetegesen pozitív visszajelzést, imádlak Titeket. Shapiro is already a character I would write as an anti-intellectual conservative for a book just like this. Someone should honestly turn the writing process for these conservative fantasies into a movie or a story, that could be fucking hilarious. This was an insane look into this dude's mind. Lol. Aaaaaah!

I think it's hilarious that even though Ben is in complete control of everything that happens in the story, he still fails to properly set up a scenario where his ideology is correct. You're stunned man? Maybe I've just lost it but I see this I I just say she's making money fear mongering and most likely doesn't have strong feelings. What you imagine a thought is for most people is a feeling followed by a regurgitation of something they've been told that absolutely has not been examined by ALL. Fight the good fight man but most people on this bandwagon aren't going to watch your video but just get made. I think a mental health crisis is something more leftist need to incorporate because these ideologies aren't appealing to people with more healthy. non-destructive} coping tools than less. We are suckered and wrangled because we have nothing and don't know how to get/maintain what we need/crave while being upfront and decent. Social skills and mental health are in shambles because of the capitalists burden on the exploited mass. I just can't but hats off. P.S. asylum even as defined isn't easy to get in the U.S. just in case people think war torn countries or people from CIA installed dictatorships have a golden ticket.

Nooooossa! I dont know how you could watch that video, she straight up gave me cancer. Great video and discussion. I laughed a bunch throughout tho. This was nostalgic as all hell for me. Sadly, Pool is on the winning so he gets the right to be the Smug Snake that he is. for the next 4 years.

Jose another great video 👍😉 and I love this song
